The section I found most interesting and very relevant to my classroom is the challenging behaviors and how to have the children listen to me. I have a few kids in my class who will do whatever they want no matter what I say to them. The section talks about the children at the 3 year old level dont know how to really express themselves so they act out. The section says to talk with them about how they feel and to give them the words to understand how they feel. The issues that come up again with the politicians and scientists is that there arent enough supports to help the children who arent just acting out and are going through tough homelifes. The new issues and trends that I have gained insight on was how to deal with the challenging behaviors and what to do about them.

international contacts

I have not heard back from my international contacts yet and the website that was given for us to use for more information while we wait to hear back from them isnt working either. I am going to just talk about the wesbite I used during the discussion, i hope that is okay!

The website I looked at was www.childrensdefense.org. It speaks about how to help the poor communities get a better education and make sure that the children make it out of their poor homes alive and well. It says that poverty levels are at an all time low.

The best thing I saw on the website was this campaign called "Protect Children not Guns". It talks about how they are trying to get people to get rid of their guns and end the violence so that children can live save and long lives. Children die from stupid gun accidents more then it should.

The insights that I gained from looking at this website is never judge a child from where they come from. Give the child the best education you can give them to allow them to succeed and get into a better lifestyle.

Educational Organization

The organization I chose to look at was www.zerotothree.org. "ZERO TO THREE is a national, nonprofit organization that provides parents, professionals and policymakers the knowledge and know-how to nurture early development" (www.zerotothree.org). I have learned from this website about healthy ways to keep your baby strong and healthy. The thing that caught my attention was the video called rally4babies. early childhood international communication and organization

The steps that I took to get to talk to people from other countries was using the website http://www.naeyc.org/resources/partnership/globalalliance and I emailed one person from Australia and another person from Africa. I emailed both of them but havent gotten anything back yet. I also just did it yesterday so I am giving them a couple more days. I emailed them about if they have anyone from different countries in their classrooms and how they make them feel like they are included in the classroom as well.

The organization I looked at was zerotothree.org. So far, it looks like it will be very interesting and I hope to get great ideas for my classroom through this website.
